The Community Bus: has announced the trips for June to December which are all looking good! There are two in June: on the 7th to Eltham Palace & Gardens, an English Heritage property, leaving the village at 9.30 am with a fare of £13 plus entrance costs. The second is on 21 June going to Roundstone Garden Centre in Ferring, leaving the village at 10 am and the fare is £8. To book your seat, please contact Christina or Les in the Hardware Shop or call on 400212. Some of the other trips include West Dean College Chilli Festival in August, a trip on the Wey and Arun canal in September and the Christmas trip in December this year will be to Canterbury to name but a few. Details of all trips can be found in the Hardware Shop (flyers at the till) and you can book at the same time!

Choir: Tomorrow evening Friday, if you enjoy singing and/or folk music, Dudley House is the place to be. From 6.30 pm for about an hour there is a meeting of the choir and then from 8.30 pm it is Folk Night. Again, if you would like more information on either, Christina at the Hardware Shop is the person to speak to.

Rosemary Club: There will be no meeting of the Rosemary Club this month (they would normally meet on Wednesday 18 June) as the members will be on their first outing for the year, going to the Rural Life Museum. If you have been going to the meetings but have yet to join – this trip is free to members, £12.50 to non-members if there are spaces – you may want to consider signing up. I believe membership is £10 for the year and there are many benefits available free to members. Please contact Helen on 07540 816170 if you would like more information.

Neighbourhood Plan: Finally, the next meeting of the Neighbourhood Plan is on Monday, 16 May from 7.30 pm in the Pavilion. I know there have been problems getting hold of an agenda from their website for the last few months but I understand a resolution to this problem is being worked on. I will let you know as soon as I know what this is and how you will be able to get hold of an agenda going forward.
