The Outing Club: is off to the Living Museum in Basingstoke on Sunday, 24 July. Pick times are as follows: Brighton Road, 9.30; Truggers 9.35; Windmill Platt 9.40 am and then on to Pease Pottage for 9.45 am. I understand that there are still a few places on the bus so if you are interested, call 400081 and put your name down, the cost is Â£24.

The Parish Council: will be meeting next week on Thursday, 28 July from 7.30 pm in the Pavilion, followed by the Planning Committee meeting. As always, both these meetings are open to the public and there is an opportunity to ask questions or raise any queries relating to any item on the agenda at both meetings. For your information, there will be no meeting of the Council in August but the Planning Committee does meet next month.
