On Sunday evening :there will be a quiz in aid of St Catherine's Hospice at the Victory Inn in Staplefield, hosted by Barbara Alderson. Teams of up to 4 people are invited to join at a cost of £2.50 per team member; timing is 7 pm for a 7.30 pm start. There will be the usual quality raffle and food will be available from 6 pm. All profits will of course go to St Catherine's. By all accounts these quiz nights are a lot of fun and not a walk in the park! So if you are looking for something to fill your time on Sunday evening, why not go along and see how you fare against the regulars!

There is still time: to book your seat on the Community Bus trip to Paradise Park in Newhaven on Tuesday, 5 April. The fare is £8 and the Bus departs from Nymans at 11 am and leaving the Park at 3.45 pm for the trip home. Speak to Christina in the Hardware Shop or call her on 400212 to book your seat. There is an additional trip planned next month: on Tuesday, 19 April there will be a trip to Ikea in Croydon for those of you in need of some retail therapy or if you just want to know what all the fuss is about! The fare again is only £8 departing from Nymans at 11 am and returning at 3.45 pm. I don’t know if there will be enough room to bring back, say, a book case, on the Bus but you never know!

If you and your friends: would like to visit somewhere in particular and feel sure that others in the village could be persuaded to fill the Bus, have a word with Christina (400212) or Sarah (882663), you never know, your wish may come true. The Committee are always open to suggestions for trips, all they ask for is that there is sufficient interest to fill the Bus in order to cover the costs.
