Downlands Community School’s Duke of Edinburgh programme has seen an increasing number of students every year complete their Bronze award, who then go onto do their Silver award.

There are four sections to complete at the Bronze and Silver levels of the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.

They involve helping the community and environment, becoming fitter, developing new skills, planning, training for and completing an expedition.
