Residents in Haywards Heath are invited to take part in a litter pick next Saturday (September 15).

The community event, organised by Haywards Heath Town Council, is being held as part of #worldcleanupday.

The town will join millions of volunteers from around the world for a litter pick.

A spokesman for the town council said: “The mayor is keen to recognise this wonderful civic pride event especially as our twin towns of Bondues, France and Traunstein are also taking part! Meet us at 11am at Barn Cottage Pavillion.”
