International TV Spiritualist Medium Colin Fry has died of lung cancer, aged 53.
The spiritualist from Haywards Heath who appeared on Most Haunted, Psychic Private Eyes and 6ixth Sense With Colin Fry, has lost his battle with cancer after being diagnosed in April this year.
His management made the announcement on his official website on Tuesday (August 25).
It said: “It is with much sadness and regret to announce that the Reverend Colin Fry, Britain’s most loved and respected Spiritualist Medium, lost his fight against cancer and passed away peacefully in Hospital in the early hours at 2.50am this morning.
“Colin brought a lot of comfort to his audiences in a career which spanned for more than 30 years.
“Our sympathies and condolences go out to Colin’s family and friends.
“We, as his management, for many years would like to add that he was the most charming man with the biggest heart, who devoted his life to helping others, and he will be sorely missed.
“May his dear soul rest in peace.”
Derek Acorah, a friend and fellow TV spiritualist who has also appeared on Most Haunted, tweeted a message of condolence.
He said: “It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of my dear friend Colin Fry. Condolences to his family and friends”.
