The Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath is opening its doors for a nursing recruitment event.

Qualified nurses and health care assistants are invited to meet the team, tour the hospital, and find out about all of the different career options on offer.

The event takes place this Thursday (December 13), from 9am to 4pm, on the first floor of the Downsmere Building at the hospital in Lewes Road. No appointment is required.

Emma Symes, matron for workforce at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust (BSUH), said: “Princess Royal is a busy hospital where our patients come first.

“We’re keen to meet people who are thinking about returning to work, advancing their careers or who want to provide outstanding care in a vibrant modern hospital.

“We have a close-knit team, strong leadership and fantastic support from our local community. I genuinely can’t imagine working anywhere else!”

If people can’t attend the open day and would like to find out more about all of the opportunities on offer, please contact the trust’s recruitment team at www.bsuh.nhs.uk/work-and-learn/join-our-team/jobs.

A spokesman added: “The day is perfect for anyone looking to find inspiration to start their careers in these professions.”
