COFFEE MORNING: at Holy Trinity Church on Saturday 16 July from 10am to 12 noon with the Hurstpierpoint Festival Highlights 2016. Go along for a sneak preview and find out about the highlights of our forthcoming village festival in September, by listening to a talk by Margaret Carey, one of the festival committee, and hear what many delights will be on offer this year. Coffee, cakes and a variety of arts and crafts plus home produce stalls available throughout the morning. Free admission to one and all.

SUMMER FAMILY MUSIC FESTIVAL: at St Lawrence CEP School on Saturday 16 July from 12 noon to 4pm on the school field, Trinity Road, organised by the PTA. Grab your rug and enjoy an afternoon of great music, food and drink. There will be a variety of talented artists including Sam Nixon, Breeze In and DJ Emma Warner. Join in the Open MIc, have a bite from the tasty BBQ that will be available or try a bottle of local beer. Tickets are £10 per adult, £5 children over 12 and St Lawrence children go free! This event is strictly limited to 200 tickets, and they can be obtained from the school office, or contact Kate Halls at [email protected].

WOLSTONBURY WI: meeting on Tuesday 19 July at 7.45pm, at the Club Suite in the Village Centre, has the speaker Derrick Fulford talking about Smuggling. Visitors welcome to go along.
