Internet workshops for beginners
Get Connected afternoon ITea workshops will teach Haywards Heath residents to use the internet.
Held at Saltworz café on America Lane, sessions will help to avoid scams and stay safe online on October 28, with shopping on the internet on November 11, connect with friends and relatives November 25 and reduce bills December 9. All sessions 2:30-4pm.
Chairman of Mid Sussex Older People’s Council’s said: “53% of people aged 65 and over do not have basic online skills and they are missing out on a whole world of internet sites that can help you save you time and money or stay in touch with relatives and friends, even though they may live miles away. This is why we are working with others to help older people gain the confidence and skills they need to Get Connected.”
