Jewellery stolen in Burgess Hill burglary

Jewellery was stolen during a burglary at a home in Burgess Hill.

Police said a property in Chanctonbury Road was broken into between 6pm and 9pm on Monday, March 7.

The offenders broke a window and stole jewellery and other items.

Police said a dark coloured four-door saloon car, believed to be a BMW or similar, was seen parked in the area at the time of the incident before driving off north towards Station Road.

Detective Constable Gavin Percival said: “I am particularly keen to speak to the occupants of this vehicle in order to eliminate it from our enquiries.

“If you can assist in any way with the identity of this vehicle or its occupants, or have any other information, please get in touch.”
