Ken awarded for ‘outstanding’ service in Burgess Hill

Chairman of Dumbrills Close Residents Association Ken Saunders was invited to Ardingly to receive a community service award from Mid Sussex District Council, in recognition of his outstanding service to the community.

He told the Middy he was ‘as strong as his committee’ and said the award was for everyone.

He added: “I would like to say a huge thank you to the Burgess Hill Lions who generously donated some money to our residents association, which enabled us to take members to Marwell Zoo.”
