NSPCC Lindfield. On the 25th of September there will be a fundraising sale of pre-loved clothes at the King Edward Hall from 9.30-12.30. Admission free. You can also sell handbags, shoes, jewellery. There will be bargains for all shapes and sizes! (Tel: 01444 482000)
Mid-Sussex Franco-British Society. Many of you may never have heard of this but it is an excellent way to practise your French once a month. If you are really rusty this would not be for you but if you are currently brushing up your French in an evening class or with the U3A then these meetings are really enjoyable AND you get to speak French too! The first meeting will be on the 30th of September in the Function Suite at Clair Hall starting at 8pm. Come along to the “Retrouvailles” for a glass of wine and tombola. Royal British Legion. Looking ahead to next month-it will soon be upon us!- There will be a talk given by Richard Bryant of the Lindfield Historical Society called “ Lindfield Past.” This will be on the 10th October in the King Edward Hall. To be followed by tea. Admission £7.
