Looking forward to Village Day: Saturday 4th June on the Common.Procession meets at 12.15 at Hickmans Lane Playing Fields and events start on the Common from 1.45pm. That’s the official version but we all know that things get underway on the Common a lot earlier! The LHS will have a wonderful plant stall. Indeed their plants’ sale last Saturday was so good that I managed to buy far too many plants and am now trying to find spaces for them all! There will be a children’s Pet Show and Fun Fair. Do enter the Grand Competition organised by the Toll House Store & Café. Details are in Lindfield Life and you must register your entries by June 1st.Fingers crossed for fine weather as the day hopes to raise at least £7000 for the King Edward Hall.
