Kangaroos Charity Group: On Tuesday 28th March at 7pm for 7.30 start at the Stand Up Inn in Lindfield High St there will be a quiz night supporting the Kangaroos Charity Group. Prices are £20 per team for up to 6. There will be a winning prize and a raffle. Funds raised go to Kangaroos registered charity group. Contact [email protected] for a booking form. This is an essential service to mid-Sussex communities providing fun and supportive weekly activity groups and days out for disabled children and adults.

Lindfield URC: on Saturday 25th March at 3pm. Tunes and Tea. The Perdido Players Swing Band will play a selection of music mainly emanating from the 30s and 40s, especially playing songs that Dame Vera Lynn made famous as we approach her 100th birthday. Admission is free and there will be a retiring collection in aid of the Air Ambulance. For more information contact Peter Swann on 01444 450335.

Royal British Legion: Lindfield Branch. Tea and Talk. “Lindfield Remembers Passchendaele and El Alamein.” Saturday 25th March at the King Edward Hall. Doors open 2pm-talk begins at 2.30pm. Tickets priced £8 from Jane on 01444 454846.

Lindfield Flower Club: The next meeting takes place at 2.30pm on Tuesday 28th March in the King Edward Hall. The club is looking forward to welcoming Christine Nash and her demonstration is called “Spring Awakening.”

Lindfield Country Market: Thursdays 10-11am. King Edward Hall. A good range of quality, healthy perennials, flowering bulbs and small shrubs all well priced are now available for your garden. If you are not sure what is suitable or how it will grow then the plant ladies are happy to offer advice. Also delicious homemade cakes and craft items. Are there any local crafters out there who would like to try selling their products? At the market there is no weekly charge for a table, just a percentage payable on sales. If this interests you do pop in for a chat.

Lindfield Horticultural Society: Spring Show on Saturday 1st April from 2pm- 4.45pm in the King Edward Hall. Admission £1.
