Lindfield Evening WI: “At our Annual Meeting in November we were reminded of the highlights of our WI year. During our monthly meetings we listened to many interesting speakers, created crafts, participated in quizes and even a laughing yoga session. Extra events included both lunch and evening meals at local restaurants and theatre trips. We have raised money for charity through sponsored walks and enjoyed a boat trip along the beautiful Wey and Arun canal. Members visited Walstead cemetery to lay flowers on three First World War servicemen’s graves in support of the Living Memory project and we participated in wreath laying on Remembrance Sunday. Over 80 members celebrated our special 60th anniversary on a sunny evening in May. We had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed the musical entertainment.”
