The educational visit saw the children build a wall and meet with the David Wilson mascot, providing an element of fun to the important message of staying safe on and around building sites.

The housebuilder said its educational programmes provide a practical way for children to learn valuable lessons outside of the classroom.

The trip was designed to ensure the children are educated on the dangers a building site holds.

Year three teacher Anna Bland said: “We thoroughly enjoyed working with David Wilson Homes, and we are grateful for the opportunity to bring the children onto an active site to allow them to see first-hand the danger.”
