Kalpana Soanes’ art has a growing following and is already represented at several galleries.

Susan Barrow, owner of The Llama Park, said: “As part of The Llama Park’s drive to enhance its overall offering to our customers we are pleased to announce the staging of The Park’s first Art Exhibition.

“It will be held at the park for the duration of the month of August, and will be part of our programme to promote local artists.”

Kalpana’s work has been described as ‘fast and furious’, using mainly acrylics and sometimes oil on canvas to create her impressionistic style.

“We have spent our first year at The Llama Park adding more to see and do,” Susan added.

“We have brought in more animals, a wider range of food in the coffee shop, a more diverse selection of fabulous knitwear items and gifts in our shop, and we have improved facilities generally in the park, for example people can now get married here, so this is yet another exciting development to add to The Llama Park’s attractions.”

Over 30 examples of Kalpana’s paintings will be exhibited in The Llama Park’s Conference Room every day in August from 10am-5pm.

All paintings will be for sale, whilst the exhibition will be free and open to the public.
