A man was airlifted to hospital after he was suddenly taken ill in Haywards Heath over the weekend.
An ambulance and two paramedic cars were called to a private address in Sussex Road at around 10am on Sunday April 17, South East Coast Ambulance Service said.
An Air Ambulance was also called and landed nearby.
A spokesman for the Kent, Sussex and Surrey Air Ambulance said crews were called after reports a man had suffered a ‘neurological incident’.
“He was airlifted to the specialist neurological unit at Brighton Hospital,” the spokesman added.
Resident Roger James took these photos of the Air Ambulance landing in the grounds of The Priory.
He said the doctors had to climb over the railings of the old the building as all the gates were locked.
