Man suffers broken nose in East Grinstead assault

A man suffered a broken nose after an assault in East Grinstead.

Police were called to Lingfield Road at around 7.25pm on Monday (January 25).

Officers said a 56-year-old man was attacked after he confronted two men who he believed were breaking into his van.

He suffered a suspected broken nose and a hand injury.

The two suspects are described as white men, both middle aged with dark hair, average height and build.

They drove off in a dark coloured saloon vehicle towards Lingfield Road.

Two Milwaukee red and white impact drivers were stolen from the victims van, officer added.
