Man taken to hospital after car fire crash

A man was taken to hospital after a two vehicle crash in Bishopstone in the village of Bolney yesterday (Sunday) morning.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service sent a fire engine from Haywards Heath tot the incident at 8.32am.

The crew reported two cars involved with one of them on fire.

No one was trapped in the vehicles and the blaze was put out using a hose reel and two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus.

One male was taken to hospital by ambulance. His injuries were not know but are not thought to be life-threatening.
