2019 is a special year for Kangaroos, as they will be celebrating their 25th anniversary, and their aim is to raise an additional £100,000 in order to provide some very special activities and once in a lifetime trips for its members who have a range of learning disabilities and complex needs, with the hope of creating some wonderful lasting memories for them to treasure forever.

The More Radio Awards evening was an opportunity to kick start their campaign and the charity was delighted that £700 in collections were raised on the night, topped up with an additional cheque for £500 presented by one of the event sponsors, Road Runners Gatwick, part of the Shuttl Me group.

In order to ensure their dream of making 2019 a very special year for all the young people they support in and around Mid Sussex and give them that “Memory of a Lifetime” that will remain with them for the rest of their lives, Kangaroos needs YOUR help.

They are seeking support from businesses, community groups and individuals to get behind this campaign and help make 2019 an extra special year for all the young people they support.
