Suzanne Howells, 47, of Brighton Road, Hurstpierpoint, was banned from driving for a year, and fined £625, with a £63 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. She had pleaded guilty to drink driving on the A273 at Hassocks.

Kevin Jay, 39, of Glebe Road, Cuckfield, was fined £40, with a £20 victim surcharge, and £40 costs. He had pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in the grounds of Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath, and to breaching a conditional discharge.

Craig Neilson, 28, of Franklands Village, Haywards Heath, was banned from driving for three months, and fined £792, with a £69 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified in Haywards Heath Road, Balcombe, and to possessing cannabis.

Sonny Jose, 38, of Thornton Heath, was given a community order with 150 hours of unpaid work, with a £60 victim surcharge, and £400 costs. He had been found guilty of causing fear of violence to a woman in Haywards Heath.

Paul Osborn, 34, of Cants Close, Burgess Hill, was given a community order with 40 hours of unpaid work, with £50 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to common assault in Burgess Hill.

Damien Sewell, 60, of Colmer Court, Burgess Hill, was given a community order with a six month curfew, and £100 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to racially aggravated common assault, and breaching a conditional discharge.

Alan Edwards, of Orchard Close, Scaynes Hill, was fined £200, with £37.50 vehicle excise back duty, and £90 costs. He was convicted in his absence of keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road.

Sheridan Booth, 48, of Green Park Corner, Wivelsfield Green, was fined £400, with £58.75 vehicle excise back duty, and £90 costs. He was convicted in his absence of keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road.

David Wright, of Highbank, Haywards Heath, was fined £200, with £18.34 vehicle excise back duty, and £90 costs. He was convicted in his absence of keeping an unlicensed vehicle.

Adam Golightly, 23, of Swansea, was given an 18 month conditional discharge, with £100 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge, and £85 costs.

He had pleaded guilty to stealing a handbag, purse and money from a woman at Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath.
