Newick Country Market will be open in the Village Hall on Friday morning, from 10 to 11am.

The Bowls Club fixture this Sunday is Ladies V Gentlemen Charity Day this will commence at 11am.

on Wednesday 26th there will be another home game against Southwater this will start at 2.30pm,on Thursday the ladies will travel to Lindfield and this should start at

The Cricket Club league fixtures are 1st X1 St. Peters away the 2nd X1 are playing at home against Bexhill 3rd team the 3rd X1 will be playing at the Temple Grove ground against Hellingly 3rd X1, and the 4th X1 will be travelling to Willingdon to play their 3rd X1.all of these matches will commence at 1.30pm

The Sunday friendly games will be against Hartfield, play will start at 1.30pm.

St. Mary’s Church services are 8am Holy Communion at 8an followed by Informal Morning Pray at 10.30am

Newick Twinning Association will be holding their Annual Boules Event at the Crown Pub on Sunday 23rd , the cost is £2per person commencing at 2pm, you are most welcome to join in the fun ,so why not pop along and enjoy the afternoon.

Newick Community Centre is hosting a DIGITAL INCLUSION session on Friday 28th from 12 noon and 2pm, no need to book just turn up, this will be held every Friday.These session will enable you to become more confident for using the internet .

Today 13th August, has been the darkest day I had to have lights on in my house at 11am in the morning, and my goodness did it rain. The farmers are working so hard to collect all their fields of harvest in, and then the heavens open, farmers are having a most difficult time at the moment what with the price of milk and the weather, fingers crossed that the super markets will ALL agree to pay the farmers more for the milk.
