Newick Country Market will be openthis Friday morning in the Village Hall from 10 to 11am.,plenty of good thing s to tempt your taste buds, and many interesting craft things to purchase, so why not pop along and enjoy a cuppa and a natter.
Just to remind you of the Coffee morning for the Newick Community Centre from 10 till mid-day there will be cards plus second hand books on sale.
The Bowls Club will be away on Saturday 12 at St. Francis, on Sunday there will be a match at home against Adastra, on Tuesday they will also be playing at home against Henfield on Friday 18th a fish & chip drive all these games will commence at 2.30pm, and that brings us to the close of the outdoor season for bowls season
Cricket this Sunday will be against ENVY this games is due to start at 1pm next Sunday 20th will be the final game of cricket for this season this match will be against Bodiam CC, and yes this will commence at12.30pm
This weekend the services at St. Mary’s Church are 8 am Holy Communion, followed by Morning Prayer at 10.30am
There will be a Harvest Celebration on Sunday 27th this will be a Family Service at 10.30am, everyone most welcome .
Newick Bonfire Society will be holding a NEWICK QUIZ NIGHT in the Village Hall doors open at 7.30pm the quiz will commence at 8pm, tickets are £8 this includes a light supper( questions will be about the village of Newick as it is now, no historical ones., the bar will be open please book your tickets by telephoning 01 825 723 372 or 723 233
Newick Rugby Club are inviting you plus your children FROM 5PM , to a Kids Tag Rugby you will also be able to watch opening eremony on the big screen, plus the game against ENGLAND v FIJI, the bar will be open, the pavilion will be open for further games you will need to check the website www.newickrfc.com or the facebook page
