THE MARKET will be open on Friday morning in the village hall from 10am to 11am. Lots of fresh vegetables, homemade cakes and savoury items, plus flowers, fresh eggs, greetings cards and many more interesting items. It’s important that you arrive early or you might be disappointed that they have sold out of the very items you wished to purchase. Don’t forget you may also place your Christmas order now.

NEWICK BONFIRE SOCIETY will be holding their Dinner Dance on Saturday December 12 in the village hall 6.30pm for 7pm. Tickets £28.50 which includes a four course dinner from the kitchen of Simon Desmond. After the meal you will be able to dance away to the professional disco. The bar will be open. ST MARY’S Annual Supper Quiz this year will be a Christmas with a Twist on Thursday December 3 at Newick Primary School, 7pm for 7.30pm start. Teams of six people. Prizes for the top three teams, plus a splendid raffle. Tickets are £10, this includes a simple Christmas Supper. All the money raised at this event will got to St Mary’s Church.
