She reports back following a meeting of the Police & Crime Panel of Friday, January 24 which set the police precept for 2014/15. The panel supported Mrs Bourne’s proposal to increase the precept (the amount you pay for policing in your Council Tax) for 2014/15.

Applications to join the Sussex Youth Commission have now closed and the Commissioner will join new recruits at its first meeting on Saturday, February 1 where its young people, aged 14-25 from across Sussex, will challenge and inform the Commissioner on the priorities within the local Police & Crime Plan.
