Downlands rank third in world for languages
Downlands pupils recognised European Day of Languages and joined in the 2014 League of Champions, which is an online Vocab Express competition.
By the end of the week, Downlands pupils were placed 3rd overall across all languages, 1st place in German and 4th place in French. Pupils downloaded the App and joined in on their iPads and laptops in their spare time. The Department opened each day for breakfast, break, lunch and after school vocabulary entries. A fantastic achievement and a brilliant way to revise vocabulary. The Modern Languages Department are extremely proud of the pupils.
