Balcombe Christmas market to go ahead this weekend

A Christmas tree society has been busy decorating a village ahead of its Christmas market.

Balcombe’s village centre has been decorated by the society ahead of the market on Saturday, December 19, which will take place outside.

This will replace the annual carol singing evening event and will take place all afternoon and into the evening, from 2pm to 6pm.

There will be a barbecue and an outside bar, as well as an appearance from Santa.

A tombola will be running in The Half Moon – prize donations are welcome and can be donated to Isabel in Threads in Alexandra House, The Broadway.

Admittance will be by pre-purchased wristbands from Isabel at Threads.

The wristband will cost £6 and include something from the barbecue and one entry into the grand prize draw.
