Burgess Hill dancer through to the live shows of BBC's The Greatest Dancer

A dancer and her family from Sussex are hoping the public will continue to support her as she competes in BBC’s The Greatest Dancer, where dancers of all ages and styles compete to win £50,000 and the chance to perform on Strictly Come Dancing.

The 17 year old, who lives with her mum, dad and three brothers in Burgess Hill, was trained from the age of 9 by her mum, who is a rhythmic gym teacher. Her family said: “She feels honored to be part of the Greatest Dancer and to engage with so many talented fellow dancers and the amazing dance captains and choreographers. Needless to say, we are incredibly proud of her achievement, and all of her friends, family, church and colleagues are cheering her on. Hopefully she will also win the hearts of the public as they see her dedication, passion and enthusiasm. She is working incredibly hard to bring her very best to the stage and do Sussex proud.”
