The list gives supporters the chance to purchase essential items and treats like brushes, toys, and food.

After making a purchase online, deliveries are made directly to the centre in Lewes Road, Chelwood Gate.

Karen Thompson, deputy manager, said: “We’ve been asked by lots of our supporters if they can buy a treat for cats in our care, and our Amazon wish list is a great way to do that.

“We’re very grateful to receive essentials like food and blankets, and new toys are great to keep the cats happy and entertained.

“We’ve listed all the items we need on the wish list, and any purchases made online will be delivered straight to the centre, so there’s no need to venture out of your home to help cats this Christmas.

“This year has been incredibly hard for many, so we completely understand many people will not be able to make a purchase or a donation this Christmas.

“There are other ways to support Cats Protection through these difficult times – even sharing our important messages about neutering and microchipping on your own social media pages is a great help.”
