East Grinstead firefighters have scaled the height of Mount Everest in ladder climb and hose running drills.

The challenge saw participants climb 8,848 metres, in order to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.

A spokesman for East Grinstead Fire Station said: “Thank you to our amazing community who have supported us today and helped us raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.

Firefighters completed the challenge around 2pm today, June 5.
