East Grinstead firefighters scale the height of Mount Everest in drills

The challenge saw participants climb 8,848 metres, in order to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.

A spokesman for East Grinstead Fire Station said: “Thank you to our amazing community who have supported us today and helped us raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.

“Please get behind us and donate what you can to this incredible cause, a charity that helps the people that help you.”

Firefighters completed the challenge around 2pm today, June 5.
