Hassocks school set to hold summer party

A village school is holding a summer party next month.

Downlands Community Schhool, in Dale Avenue, Hassocks is holding the party on Saturday, June 26 from 12pm to 4pm.

There will be a dog show, a music and dance festival, craft ales and a barbecue.

The school will hold a plant sale, as well as having craft stalls and a prize draw, with prizes set to be announced.

Volunteers are needed to help set up, take down and run some of the stalls.
