A questionnaire has been offered to the public on how to improve the play area in Turners Hill, and people can have their say until Sunday, April 25.

This follows a previous questionnaire on how to improve the play area - the current questionnaire is to determine which of several options young people would prefer.

A spokesman for the council said: “Thank you to everyone who filled in our questionnaire on play area improvements in Turners Hill.

“We have been through the responses. 92 per cent of people who filled in a survey liked either some or all of the suggestions in the plan.

“Some people felt we should be putting in more equipment, but unfortunately the suggested plan was based on the available budget, so this won’t be possible.

“People liked that we are making efforts to make the play area inclusive and accessible for all.

“People also suggested we could install a skate ramp, outdoor gym equipment, or improve the basketball area.

“We have some additional funding but we are only able to offer one of these things so we want to understand exactly what it is young people want.
