Haywards Heath hospital radio DJ wins college place

A radio presenter from Haywards Heath has won a place at a London drama college.

Luci Florence, who trained as a radio presenter with Mid Downs Radio at the Princess Royal Hospital, is currently studying at Italia Conti, a drama school in Woking.

Wendy Swinton-Eagle, a fellow presenter at the radio station, said: “Congratulations to Luci Florence on gaining a place in the Federation of Drama Schools at Rose Bruford, whose alumni include Gary Oldman, Tom Baker, Tom Hopper and Hayley Squires.

Luci qualified as a radio presenter presenting her ‘Monday Music Mix’ show until recently.

She said: “It was an amazing experience that I’m proud to add to my belt of media skills.”
