Haywards Heath man, 75, cycles fifty miles to fund defibrillator
A member of the Ascension Church in Vale Road, Haywards Heath has cycled 47.7 miles to raise money for a defibrillator.
David Seabrook, 75, raised £882.70 for a debrillator for church members and for the wider Ashenground community.
Alison Hastings, member of the congregation, said: “The defibrillator is now up on the church wall and to celebrate David’s achievement, we will be holding an opening ceremony.”
There will be a ribbon cutting and tea and cake at the opening ceremony, which takes place on Saturday, March 7, at 10.30am, and members of the community are invited to attend.
