Horticulture society looks for more participants

A town horticultural society is looking for people to get involved with a category in its upcoming show.

Haywards Heath Horticultural Society, which has a summer community event coming up at the Orchards shopping centre on Saturday, June 26, is looking for more participants in its recycled craft section.

Sylvia Harris, vice-chairman of the society, said: “We really need the community to get involved and with our entry of recycled craft, and we’re hoping for some great ideas.

We planned this knowing things may get delayed and having the event outside means we can go ahead.”

Town mayor, Howard Mundin will be attending to present cups and awards.
