Paralympic gold medallist among speakers at Burgess Hill Girls’ upcoming Tomorrow’s Women conference

Burgess Hill students have organised a conference showcasing inspiring women, and are offering free tickets to Sussex schoolpupils.

Sixth Formers at Burgess Hill Girls are preparing for the 2020 Tomorrow’s Women conference, which will feature speakers such as Paralympic gold medallist Danielle Brown MBE.

Deputy chief constable of Sussex Police Jo Shiner will also be a speaker along with Barclays Eagle Labs Ecosystem manager Naomi Muston and founder of the Thrive Effect Clare Griffiths.

Free tickets to the event, set to be held at the school from 4.30-7pm on Friday, March 6, are available for all schoolpupils in Sussex. Limited places are also available for parents.

Leisha Limbachia, Burgess Hill Girls sixth former, said: “Organising the Tomorrow’s Women Conference has taught me vital communication and networking skills which I can use in the future. It has also been a lot of fun!”
