Royal Sussex Regimental Association given £333 by Waitrose
The Mid Sussex branch of the Royal Sussex Regimental Association was given a £333 cheque from Waitrose.
The cheque was given from the manager of the Burgess Hill branch as part of the company’s Community Matters scheme.
Robert Piper, a member of the association, said: “We would like to thank Waitrose for its generous donation.
“Without this support during this strange time the members would not be able to help and support the regiment widows and thought members living on their own during lockdown across the district.
