With its motto ‘To Inspire to Achieve’, Sussex ACF is always seeking new adult volunteers to continue its success. Visit armycadets.com/county/sussex-acf or email [email protected] for more information.

The Army Cadet Force offers action, adventure, fun and friendship. It is one of the country’s largest voluntary youth organisations, and one of the oldest, tracing its history back to 1859.

Membership is open to boys and girls aged over 12 and in at least year eight at school.

Some of the activities have a military theme, others have more of a community focus, but they all inspire young people to challenge their limits, become more independent, confident and able to step up to any challenge.
