West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service launches online fire safety class for children launched

A spokesman for Haywards Heath Town Council said: “With online learning now taking place, our wonderful firefighters at West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service have designed an online learning zone to help teach your little one about fire safety.

“Full of fun and educational resources the learning zone is split into early years, key stage 1 and key stage 2 categories.

“It additionally contains an educational fire safety resource for young adults.”

Children can learn about house hazards, watch videos featuring real life firefighters on how they keep the community safe, and plan a safe exit in case of fire.

There are also learning resources for parents.
