Plans for 64 new homes in Burgess Hill

Plans have been put forward for 64 new homes to be built in Burgess Hill.

An outline planning application has been submitted to Mid Sussex District Council by developers Sunley Estates to build the homes on the land adjoining The Croft in Kings Way.

The proposals for the 64 homes also include 19 affordable houses with public open space and ‘natural green’ space.

Councillors approved an application for 480 new homes to be built on the land East of Kings Way back in 2012.

In June 2015 approval was given for the first 125 homes in the development to be built.

Council officials are asking anyone who wants to make any comments on the latest application to contact the council offices in Oaklands Road within the next few weeks before any decisions are made.
