Plans for a £65 million regeneration project in Burgess Hill town centre will go on display next week.

NewRiver Retail, the leaseholders of The Martlets Shopping Centre, will be hosting an exhibition on Tuesday November 10 in The Martlets Shopping Centre in the unit next to Euronics Domestic Appliances, between 3pm and 7pm.

The plans outline the creation of a ten screen Cineworld Cinema, a 63 bed Travelodge hotel, 142 residential units, a purpose-built modern library, 283 additional car parking spaces and an extra 70,000 square feet of retail space.

They were submitted to Mid Sussex District Council at the end of last month.

Representatives will be available to answer any questions on the submitted planning application and provide further information.

A second exhibition is to be held from Thursday November 12 until Friday November 27 with an animated ‘fly through’ at the Burgess Hill Town Council offices.

The exhibition will be open from 9am-5pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10am-5pm on Wednesday and 9.30am-12.30pm on Saturday.
