MASSIVE THANK YOU: to everyone who supported the recent Table Top Sale to help the Plumpton Fund Raising Group raise funds for St. Peter and St. James Hospice. Whatever you did whether it was assisting with preparations or on the day, having a stall, attending the sale or donating items you helped raise more than £600. Many thanks.

FOOTPATH SOCIETY WALK: (four miles) on Saturday March 12 starts at 10.30am at the car park in the centre of Bramber, Map Ref: TQ 186 105. The walk will include Annington, St. Botolph’s Church and the River Adur. For more details call the walk leaders Gerry and Brenda Arnold on 01444 241463.

POSTPONED JUMBLE SALE: in aid of the Tennis Club. The sale arranged for Saturday March 19 will now take place on Saturday September 10.

LANCING COLLEGE: and its Local History is the subject of the talk by Dr Janet Pennington at the village hall on Wednesday March 23. Meet at 2pm for a 2.30pm start. All welcome.

SAUSAGE AND MASH QUIZ: in aid of St Peter and St James Hospice Teams of 8 (individuals welcome) takes place on Saturday April 2 at 7pm. Ticket price £12 (to include dessert). Raffle and licensed bar.
