Consultation on future of Clair Hall in Haywards Heath
A consultation on the future of Clair Hall in Haywards Heath has been set for this summer.
Mid Sussex District Council confirmed it had set out the timetable for the official council engagement and consultation.
A 12-week engagement will take place during the summer months of this year, it added.
The results will then be consulted upon with the community towards the end of 2021.
Councillor Norman Webster, MSDC’s cabinet member for community, said: “The council has committed to openly engaging our community in a full public consultation on the future of Clair Hall
“We have now outlined the stages that will lead us to undertaking this starting with 12 weeks of engagement during the summer months of 2021.”
MSDC said the comprehensive engagement programme and consultation was being carried out as agreed within the legal consent order from January of this year before any decision is taken on the future of Clair Hall.
The timetable leading to the community engagement will begin with the appointment of an independent consultant to support the work, currently planned to take place in spring 2021.
