County councillors set to cast their votes electronically

West Sussex county councillors could be voting electronically after debates rather than raising their hands in the future.

New conferencing facilities are being installed in the main chamber in Chichester’s County Hall, including an electronic voting system.

However in order to use the new system the authority’s Full Council is being asked to agree an amendment to its standing orders this Friday.
