Final day to have a say on Gatwick runway proposals

There are just a few more hours to have a say on Gatwick Airport’s proposals for a second runway.

The airport’s owner London Gatwick Ltd is consulting on three options for a second runway built to the south of the existing runway. The difference between the three options is the distance between the two runways.

The larger the gap, the higher the potential capacity of the airport will be.

The proposals also include improvements and changes to the road and rail network and plans to re-route the River Mole.

People have until midnight tonight (Friday May 16) to complete the online questionnaire.
