Free school launch evening and talk

More than 100 parents from Sussex, Kent and Surrey including Hayewards Heath have registered interest in a new school in Sussex.

The Sussex Weald Free School initative will hold its first public meeting on Friday June 21 at 7.30pm in Nutley Village Memorial Hall.

The evening will include a talk by Simon Shirley on the Inspiration and Essence of Steiner Education.

The free school’s vision is to create a government-back school offering a Steiner-inspired curriculum for children aged from four to 16.

The location will depend on where the demand is but is likely to be in a town or village surrounding Ashdown Forest.
