Ansty And Staplefield

DM/20/1529: Holmsted Farm, Staplefield Road, Cuckfield. Change of use of agricultural building to a car body repair workshop (Use Class B2).

DM/20/1345: Delamere, Stockcroft Road. Removal of an existing conservatory, and replacement single storey rear extension with additional extension to the existing kitchen. Associated enlargement of rear raised terrace. New side entrance door and obscure glazed side window. Amended plans received 06.05.2020.

Burgess Hill

DM/20/1257: 87 Junction Road. Revised application for the proposed change of use, extension and conversion of Denmark House from offices to form 6 flats (3 x 1 bedroom and 3 x 2 bedroom), with associated off-street parking, cycling, bin and recycling storage (following withdrawal of DM/19/4599). AMENDED PLANS RECEIVED 6/5/2020 showing revisions to northern side elevation and window detail, change to rear boundary treatment for flats 1 and 2 and vehicle tracking information.

DM/20/1501: 89 Dunstall Avenue. Demolition of existing single-storey rear extension and construction of new single-storey rear extension and minor internal alterations with associated soft landscaping works. Description amended 12.05.2020 to include timber decking area to rear.

DM/20/1502: 23 Park Road. T1 (Elder tree) - Fell. T2 (Elder tree) - Fell. T4 (Japanese Thuja) - Crown and reduce height by 5.5m.

DM/20/1527: 5 Thornhurst. Single storey rear extension.

DM/20/1536: Barclays, 1 Church Road. Removal of escape door to rear service yard and block opening to match existing, removal of night safe and block opening to match existing.

DM/20/1544: 2 Newport Road. Change of use from A1(Shop) to C3(1 Bedroom flat). Change to front exterior of property with replacement of side garage doors with double gates, and changes to brick render and fascia. New boundary wall replacing existing timber fencing. New uPVC windows to the first and ground floor, with the existing shop window replaced to provide ventilation and fire escape.

DM/20/1552: 72 Oak Hall Park. Garage conversion with rear single storey extension. Construction of first floor with raising of roof height.

DM/20/1568: Land To The Rear Of Fern Place, Victoria Road. Oak trees x 3 - Reduce overhanging branches by 3m.

East Grinstead

DM/20/1556: Carpetright, 220 - 228 London Road. Redevelopment of the site to provide 38 Retirement Living apartments with associated communal facilities, parking and landscaping.

DM/20/1210: 7 Chestnut Grove, Hurstpierpoint. Part two storey, part single storey side extension. (Revised plan received 07.05.2020).

DM/20/1533: Little Park Farm, Marchants Close, Hurstpierpoint. Removal of an existing barn, mobile home and other outbuildings. Construction of 3 dwellings.

DM/20/1567: The Stables, Pookbourne Lane, Sayers Common. Retrospective application to remove condition 4 of DM/16/5066 to allow up to 3 anglers per day to fish from the lake.


DM/20/1510: Pear Tree House, 30 High Street. T1 Cedar- felled and replaced with more suitable variety. T2 Pine, remove upper limb which unbalances tree. T3 Holly fell. T4 Yew - reduce one over extending branch over border by 2 metres to shape.

DM/20/1550: 1 Tollgate. (T1) Ash -re-pollard, remove all deadwood.

DM/20/1577: 47B Compton Road. Garden Room/Shed 5 x 3 metres, at end of garden.

Lindfield Rural

DM/20/1534: Cockhaise Mill, Monteswood Lane, Lindfield. Internal works to include a new partition wall and door from the hall to form a utility room.

DM/20/1582: Land To The East Of High Beech Lane/Land North Of Barrington Close, Lindfield. Variation of condition nos 1 of application DM/19/2845, to replace approved plans allowing for changes in layout to plots 16 to 19.

West Hoathly

DM/20/1352: Highbrook Sawmill And Fencing Company, Hammingden Lane, Ardingly. Outline application for demolition of existing buildings, removal of plant, machinery and equipment and clearance of the site. Cessation of the use of the site as a sawmill. Erection of four detached dwellings and provision of revised access to the site, with new road and parking. All matters to be reserved except for access.

DM/20/1354: Highbrook Sawmill And Fencing Company, Hammingden Lane, Ardingly. Replacement of existing residential mobile home with new 2 storey, 3 bedroom dwelling with new access onto Hammingden Lane.


DM/20/1383: 22 Forest Close, Crawley Down. Erection of 2 storey, 2 bedroom detached dwelling on gardenland and associated boundary treatment with provision of 2 parking spaces.

DM/20/1407: 22 Forest Close, Crawley Down. Proposed new dwelling (1x2 bedroom, attached) together with parking and associated landscaping.

DM/20/1543: 8 Bridgelands, Copthorne. Single storey rear extension.

DM/20/1590: Land At Lower Hollow Copse (Pot Common), Copthorne Road, Copthorne. Proposed use of land to form two sites for 8 permanent gypsy and traveller pitches. Site A- proposed laying out of 5 permanent pitches for the settled gypsy and traveller community. Erection of a site manager’s office and utility blocks and laying out of internal roads, parking and associated drainage works, boundary treatments and landscaping. Site B - proposed laying out of 3 permanent pitches for the settled gypsy and traveller community, associated access roads, drainage works, boundary treatments and landscaping. Single vehicle access to Copthorne Road to serve both sites. Provision of footpath within the highway verge along Copthorne Road.
