Warden Park Secondary is maintaining high standards of behaviour since being converted into an Academy, says Ofsted.
An inspection report, published on July 8, concluded the behaviour of pupils at the academy is still a ‘good’ standard following its conversion in February 2012. The report said: “Students show great pride in their academy. They speak of it as a ‘happy’ and ‘friendly’ community.”
Head teacher Mr Jonathan Morris, said: “We recently received a letter from a local bus company praising the “politeness and courtesy shown to drivers” by our students and this is behaviour we expect from them at all times. The staff lead by example and the community thrives in an atmosphere of co-operation and mutual respect which clearly maximises the opportunities for learning. We were delighted that the OFSTED report recognises this”.
