The royal baby has arrived - It’s a boy!

The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth today (July 22) to a baby boy - who weighed 8lbs 6oz.

Kate Middleton is said to have had a baby boy in the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital - where Prince William was also born - at 4.24pm.

The much anticipated royal arrival, whose name is yet to be announced, is third in line to the throne and the Queen’s third great-grandchild.

The Duchess was reported to have gone in to the early stages of labour on Monday morning (July 22).
